The job splits your time working at CR’s two East Lansing companies (same office), CR News – a broadcast news videographer/editor and CR Marketing – a social media marketing shooter/editor.

This is What Our Video Apprentices Do:
- Use portable Bi-Color studio lights
- Learn how to edit at a pro-level, quickly
- Know how to use LAV and boom mics
- Learn how to capture audio tracks using our sound board and adobe audio tools
- Most importantly, you will learn project management from our project managers
- Operate a 4K drone (we’ll pay for your FAA license)
Assistant Project Manager
Pay: $14/hour + Bonuses
Our Apprenticeships Are Best Suited for College Juniors, Seniors or Recent Graduates. The Assistant Project Manager will work with our Project Manager, a creative team of writers, designers, and videographers to manage content and project creation and scheduling. They’ll do this for two small and awesome companies: CR Marketing a digital marketing firm and CR News a digital new agency. You’ll get guidance from Joe and Kathy the companies partners every step of the way. The managers have creative and strategy input on the news shows and the marketing campaigns we deploy.

Digital Marketing & a Little Web Design
Pay: $14/hour + Bonuses
This position focuses on using corporate-level ad management tools to manage a variety social media platforms. You will learn to work with our creative team of writers, designers, and videographers to create, monitor and analyze digital marketing campaigns, as well learning UX for development and site mainten-ance. Apprentices are taught how to complete major client projects and build skills that will land them a great job after graduation.

- How to triple your creative output.
- Learn to work with clients to manage social media campaigns.
- How a web/graphic artist collaborates with our photographers, videographers and writers.
- Manage digital campaigns for social media marketing.
You will learn these HARD skills:
- Select hyper targeted audiences (demo, behaviors, Geo) for CR News and CR Marketing videos posts.
- Manage the Virtual Private Server(VPS) and the domains and files attached
- Setup the framework for new sites
- Build out content and structure of multifaceted websites and SEO
- Connect website with data analysis
- Manage website analysis and apply the data to Facebook campaigns
- Work with our data miners to create Databases for audience-mirroring in social media posts and for InStream campaigns.
